The star shone down
Illuminating beauty
A baby in a manger
With such a solemn task
The star, it gleamed
And bathed the babe in light
OR DID HE ILLUMINATE THAT STAR SO BRIGHT?

Love filled the earth
On wings of joy and gladness
From such a tiny infant
Yet to suffer so
And all He asks
Is that we live in peace
DID HE NOT SHOW A LOVE THAT WILL NOT CEASE?

And as we dwell
Upon that precious moment
A sacred scene unfolding
A God had come to earth
The angels sang
All heaven praised His name
SHOULD WE NOT CRAVE HIS LOVE AND DO THE SAME?
